What do you think health professionals of these days? Do you think they are devoted life savers or are getting a little money-minded these days?
I used to believe a lot in the doctors being devoted life savers but after looking through a website, it changed my point of view.
I found a website relating to fat-causing parasites

If you read this link's content, the part that changed my mind is where some health professionals practically lie about the actual condition of their patients!
'Do you really find it such a surprise that food & drug companies profit off you being sick?' (Quoted from source)
I know, the website itself may look a bit exaggerated due to highlighting and capitalized words. The author also showed pictures as evidence so it is hard to say she is lying. The thing is. . . even she says she would help, she would also like others, request a price first.
Ironically, money seems to talk quite a bit even from somebody willing to help. :S
I am pretty lost on what to believe, so could use some opinion from you guys :)
(Sorry, if this topic is sort of sensitive. Please don't flame me!) T_T

These days health professionals are hard to believe. You know some of them are out to take opotunities to earn more moneys rather than to help people to get into pink of health. First their mind are full of monetary gains rather than to help people. You can find very few good souls just like religion where some are total out to get people to join in the end these people will be asked to contribute to their monthly salaries instead

I have to agree with you to a certain degree. Nowadays, health care professionals are money-minded. But not all. I am myself going to be in this industry after my graduation. It is true and I definitely have heard cases of doctors telling their patient to take certain operations/surgeries that cost a fortune but are not really needed. However, as a patient, you can only trust that doctor. What can you do? My only advice is that to go to someone that you know or at least is recommended by a friend. Although there is still a chance of getting a money minded professional, it is lesser. Just my thoughts.

you know i would also agree to what other people saqy about these medical professionals. some but only few of them are very dedicated and are really a life saver. however, there are some professionals that will ask the patients to keep on coming back, these are some of the points you should consider. as if they do not know what is happening to you and they will ask you to come back again and again. then you will pay every consultation and every laboratories they will make. kind a frustrating right?

Some professionals are out just to make more money while there are some who will go out of the way to help those who are poor and can't afford the high cost of fees. There are those who are not competent enough to perform the job but pretent to be clever and just out to make more money. Like one who is not a specialist but charge high fees. Some patients can recover with the treatment because the drugs given were right.
